Rihanna ‘Man Down’ : Anti-Violence Message
Rihanna has recently released a reggae-tinged single “Man Down” that fires off a powerful anti-violence message.
The song tells a story of a sexually-abused woman who takes a revenge on her abuser. The very famous singer from Barbados kills a man in the video. How it all started?
Beautiful long-haired Rihanna is hanging with the guys in neighborhood before going to a club. Later, in the nightclub, she meets a young guy and dances with him, not knowing what’s waiting for her after…The guy forces her upon him, leaving the girl in tears. The red-haired singer takes a revenge and shoots the abuser. As she says, now she’s a criminal… A criminal that did not mean to hurt her violator. But that’ll teach a lesson. The video is one of the most watched ones in YouTube with over 20 million views.
Rihanna is an R&B, pop and reggae singer as well as a songwriter, executive producer and video director. The 23-year-old singer has already released 5 albums: “Music of the Sun,” “A Girl Like Me,” “Good Girl Gone Bad,” “Rated R” and “Loud.”
Rihanna has sold more than 20 million albums, 60 million singles and is one of the best selling artists of all time. She has performed with such famous singers as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Ne-Yo, Eminem, Britney Spears, etc.
